Our Staff

All of our staff are appointed based on their experience and ability to support the children. Every member of staff must have an enhanced DBS check and we also make sure that key members have undergone paediatric first aid training with St John’s Ambulance. Current members of the team are:
 

Dawn (Pre-School Manager)
Dawn qualified as an NNEB Level 3 Nursery Nurse in 2001 and has been working with children of different ages ever since. Dawn has gathered a vast range of experience having worked as a childminder, a creche manager, a nanny and a nursery nurse in a number of different settings. Dawn is Level 5 qualified having successfully completed a Foundation Degree in Early Years' Child Care and Education. Dawn is the Pre-School’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
 

Zoe (Pre-School Deputy Manager and Room Leader)
Zoe is qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Early Years' Childcare and was appointed to Deputy Manager in September 2013. Zoe has a range of experience across nurseries and pre-schools and is the 3 to 5's room leader. Zoe is the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
 

Stephanie (Pre-School Senior Practitioner and Room Leader)
Stephanie joined the team in 2014 and is Level 3 qualified. Stephanie brings with her a great deal of relevant experience having previously worked with reception age children at a local infant school and is the 2 to 3's room leader.

Emma (Pre-School Practitioner)
Emma has a great deal of experience having worked in a pre-school setting for many years. Emma is qualified to NVQ Level 3.

Hilary (Pre-School Practitioner)
Hilary is NNEB Level 3 qualified and worked as a childminder before joining our setting.
 

Kim (Pre-School Assistant)
Kim was a childminder before she joined the team and is about to embark on her NVQ Level 3 qualification!
